Belarus, ICRC sign plan of joint activities for 2024
Belarus’ Deputy Foreign Minister Yuri Ambrazevich and Head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Delegation in Belarus, Sebastian Fustier, signed a plan of joint activities of state and other organisations of Belarus and the ICRC for 2024 – as reported by the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s press service
“This plan is concluded on an annual basis to co-ordinate the actions of the Belarusian government bodies and the ICRC. In particular, the document envisages projects for the exchange of experience between government bodies and organisations of Belarus and ICRC experts in the area of working with migrants, on the implementation of international humanitarian law, on supporting the capabilities of Belarusian government bodies and organisations in ensuring preparedness for and response to emergency situations, on spreading knowledge about the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement,” the Foreign Ministry informed.
The ICRC is an international humanitarian organisation founded in 1863 in Switzerland, acting on the principles of neutrality and impartiality, while providing protection and assistance to victims of armed conflicts. It is part of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.
