Belarus’ FM on ambitions of Western gunmakers: they forget that there will be no one to share profit in the event of a global conflict
The whole world is concerned about the current potential for global conflict, and only Western countries, when answering acute questions, behave as if they have filled their mouths with water – as stated by Belarus’ Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov in his talk with journalists on the side-lines of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly

“Many representatives of the West behave is if they have filled their mouths with water, demonstrating the position that they do not understand what is happening, do not know where to go, and have no idea about anything. They are paying attention to some minor issues, urging everyone to calm down and make no response,” Mr. Ryzhenkov said.
At the same time, as noted by the Foreign Minister, the whole world — including Latin America, China, the Middle East, Iran and Africa — talk about a difficult situation. “Everyone understands that the world today is so full of weapons that the potential for a global conflict is very high. It is unlikely to have a happy end due to the available nuclear weapons, the huge ambitions of states and corporations, and great profits generated by all this,” the diplomat said.
The Foreign Minister drew attention to the reaction of German arms manufacturers, “They are glad, they discuss plans to increase [production of weapons] several times in the coming five years. They are concerned about money, but they forget that there will be no one to share their profit if there is a global conflict.”
