Belarus’ First Deputy PM: business is locomotive of country's economic development
Speaking during Belarusian Entrepreneurship Week, the First Deputy Prime Minister, Nikolai Snopkov, noted that more than one million three hundred thousand people are engaged into the business activity in Belarus – accounting for a third of all employed citizens
“Business is the locomotive of economic development,” Mr. Snopkov said. He also thanked businessmen for their calmness and adaptability in the changed conditions of economic activity.
According to the First Deputy Prime Minister, a steady economic growth has been registered in Belarus this year. “Everything has been created in the republic, so that entrepreneurship can proactively develop. This includes infrastructure, conditions, tax regimes, preferences, and support elements,” he noted.
