Belarus, Ethiopia discussed co-operation in trade and economic sphere
Belarus’ First Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Lukashevich held a meeting with the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Belarus in the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Davit Zeude Khayle Selassie, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s press service
During the conversation, ways to intensify contacts between Belarus and Ethiopia, co-operation in the economy and trade, implementation of joint projects in the field of culture and education were discussed.
"The Honorary Consul was focused on continuing effective work to protect the interests and assist Belarusian citizens and legal entities," the Foreign Ministry's press service stressed.
According to the source, on behalf of the Foreign Minister, Sergei Lukashevich presented Davit Selassie with the honorary badge – ‘100 Years of Belarus’ Diplomatic Service’ – for his significant contribution to the development of Belarusian-Ethiopian relations.
