Belarus’ Education Minister: work on patriotic and civic education starts from kindergarten

Work on patriotic and civic education begins at kindergarten – as stated by Belarus’ Education Minister Andrei Ivanets in his talk with the ONT TV channel, sb.by reports

“Our young people now want to be talked to. They want to be informed on the real agenda, and it is necessary to understand that we must do this, because someone will definitely come and fight for the minds of our youth, if we fail to do this. Therefore, with this in view, we start working over patriotic and civic education from kindergarten years. We explain to children in which country our youngest citizens live, what they can be proud of, what state symbols Belarus has,” the Education Minister said.
