Belarus’ Deputy PM held talks with Russian Transmashholding
On January 16th, Belarus’ Deputy Prime Minister Piotr Parkhomchik and Industry Minister Aleksandr Rogozhnik held negotiations in Moscow with the management of Russia’s Transmashholding on the implementation of current joint projects with Belarusian industrial enterprises and the expansion of co-operation
According to the Belarusian Government’s press service, the parties discussed the implementation of the joint project of BelAZ and Kolomna Plant, having agreed to conduct additional field and bench trials of the Kolomna engine on the territory of our country with the participation of specialists from BelaZ, Minsk’s Motor Plant and Kolomna Plant. Based on the test results, the previously supplied engines will be modified and purchasing of the next batch within the framework of the signed contract will be continued.
An agreement was also reached during the meeting to ensure uninterrupted monthly supplies of Russian-made cast car sets in the interests of Belarusian carriage-production facilities.
Moreover, the two sides have also discussed areas of mutual co-operation on the issue of localising the production of complex components of high-speed gearboxes for electric vehicles on the territory of the Union State, as well as other promising areas of interaction of mutual interest.
