Belarus’ Defence Ministry: chiefs of general staffs of the CIS Armed Forces agreed on co-operation in combat training

A delegation of the Armed Forces of Belarus headed by the Chief of the General Staff, First Deputy Defence Minister, Major General Viktor Gulevich, has taken part in a regular meeting of the committee of chiefs of staffs of the Armed Forces of the Commonwealth of Independent States in Moscow, sb.by reports with reference to the Defence Ministry

It is informed that the parties exchanged views on regional and international security issues, decided on further development and operation of the joint communication system, outlined areas of interaction between the CIS armies in combat and field training.

The Chief of the Air Force and Air Defence Command of Belarus’ Armed Forces, Major General Andrei Lukyanovich, made a report On Directions of Development of the United Regional Air Defence System of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation.

Following the meeting, the participants decided to hold a regular session of the committee of chiefs of staffs of the CIS Armed Forces in Belarus in 2025.
