Belarus’ Defence Minister: Zapad-2025 exercises held jointly with Russia to become Armed Forces’ main training event this year

The Zapad-2025 joint exercises, scheduled to be held jointly with the Russian Federation, will be the main training event for the Belarusian Armed Forces in 2025 – as stated by Defence Minister Viktor Khrenin in his talk with the Belarus 1 TV channel

"We strictly comply with all our obligations under the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO). Belarus will take part in all upcoming exercises and trainings held on the territory of the CSTO member states,” Mr. Khrenin said.

According to the Defence Minister, the joint strategic exercises of the Belarusian and Russian armies – Zapad-2025 – will become the main event in the Armed Forces this year.
