Anatoly Markevich called today’s event historic for the country ‘because conceptual approaches have been adopted for the construction of the National Historical Museum at the President’s level’, “The Head of State voiced important messages that the exposition itself should be interesting and at the same time truthful in relation to our history.”

According to Anatoly Markevich, it may be necessary to create a narrow group of specialists so that ‘every hall, every exposition is filled with the deepest meaning’.

“There are draft versions, which have been approved, but very serious work lies ahead. The museum will feature the best, cutting-edge technologies. We see our task in making the exhibition interesting for people of all ages. We have seen the best practices in other countries and plan to apply them in the exhibition work of the future museum. We have very serious, painstaking work ahead that will reflect our independence, sovereignty and vision for the future,” the Culture Minister underlined.
