Belarus-Cuba liaisons in healthcare discussed in Minsk
Belarus’ Healthcare Minister, Dmitry Pinevich, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to Belarus, Juan Valdez Figueroa, on February 15th – as reported by the Healthcare Ministry’s press service
The sides gathered at Belarus’ Healthcare Ministry to discuss prospects of Belarusian-Cuban co-operation in healthcare and pharmaceutical industry. As informed, they shared mutual confidence that development of liaisons in these areas will become an additional impetus also for further strengthening of the Belarusian-Cuban trade and economic relations.
The agenda included the issues and implementation of the agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Republic of Cuba on mutual supplies.
According to the press service, special attention is paid to the possibility of implementing the projects dealing with supplies of Belarusian medicines to Cuba and localisation of production of some Cuban drugs in Belarus.
