Belarus, Cuba discuss bilateral military co-operation

As part of the stay of the Cuban military delegation in our country, negotiations were held between Belarus’ Defence Minister, Lieutenant General Viktor Khrenin, and Minister of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Cuba Corps General Álvaro López Miera – as reported by the Belarusian Defence Ministry in its Telegram channel

The two sides shared their views on the assessment of the security situation in the world and the military-political situation in the European region. The heads of defence departments also discussed in detail the current state of bilateral military co-operation and ways for its further development.

Following the talks, mutual interest was expressed in intensifying contacts in the military sphere.
