Belarus, China oppose any attempts to falsify and distort WWII history
Belarus and China strongly oppose any attempts to falsify and distort the history of the Second World War – as stated in the two countries’ joint declaration on establishment of relations of all-weather and comprehensive strategic partnership adopted in Samarkand, BelTA reports
The states will jointly protect the common history and heroic past, and will continue to perpetuate the memory of buried soldiers – natives of Belarus – on the territory of China.
In addition, Belarus and China will strongly condemn actions aimed at levelling responsibility for the atrocities of fascist aggressors, militaristic invaders and their accomplices, desecration of the victorious countries’ memory.
In line with the joint declaration, the states are ready to continue strengthening co-operation within the UN, maintain close contacts and interaction on international and regional issues of mutual interest, adhere to the principles of mutual respect, equality and justice, co-operation and mutual gain, jointly protect the common values of humanity: peace, development, equality, justice, democracy and freedom.
