Belarus’ CEC Chairman: 362 international observers accredited, their number continues to grow
As of today, 7 observers have been accredited at Belarus’ Central Election Commission (CEC) for the 2025 Presidential election, while 962 observers have been accredited at territorial election commissions and 27,361 observers – at precinct election commissions. In addition, the accreditation of foreign (international) observers continues, CEC Chairman Igor Karpenko noted during today’s press conference.
“A total of 362 international observers have already been accredited. These include representatives from the CIS, IPA CIS, SCO, CSTO PA, the Secretariat of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), the Non-Aligned Movement Youth Organisation, election bodies of foreign states, and independent observers (58). The representation of the countries is already about 40, including about 15 European states, countries of the African continent, Latin America, Asia, and the CIS,” Mr. Karpenko noted.
