Belarus’ Ambassador to Kazakhstan discussed construction of ‘Belarusian residential quarter’ in Astana with city mayor

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Pavel Utyupin, has met with Astana Mayor Zhenis Kassymbek, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s press service

During the meeting, a wide range of issues of bilateral co-operation were discussed, including the implementation of the construction project of the ‘Belarusian residential quarter’ in Astana and preparations for the 1st Forum of Regions of Belarus and Kazakhstan, as well as the implementation of an investment project for the construction of a Belarusian trade and logistics centre in the Kazakh capital.

Special attention was paid to the issue of organising a visit to Belarus by representatives of the Astana city administration to get acquainted with the machine building complex and explore the possibilities of using Belarus-made equipment by Astana communal services.
