Andreichenko: Belarus should pay special attention to developing relations with China
Special attention should be paid to development of relations with Belarus’ strategic partner: China. As noted by the Chairman of the House of Representatives, Vladimir Andreichenko, the country plans to increase the level of inter-parliamentary liaisons by creating an Inter-Parliamentary Commission on Co-operation between the National Assembly of Belarus and the Parliament of the People's Republic of China, taking into account the agreements reached at a high level.
“As for the Western vector, it has truly become much more difficult to work at the OSCE and Council of Europe venues. They, as well as the European states themselves, have become hostages of the US course to maintain its dominance in the world. I am convinced that time will show the futility of the policy of confrontation. So we need to be proactive and use every opportunity to bring objective information about the situation in Belarus to the world community, to continue our working contacts with representatives of various political forces. We should further use people's diplomacy and interact with the Belarusian diaspora as well,” Mr. Andreichenko said.
