Andrei Filatov appointed First Deputy Chairman of Belarus’ State Border Committee

Colonel Andrei Filatov has been appointed First Deputy Chairman of the State Border Committee, following the relevant decree signed by President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko on August 21^st, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service

Major General Igor Butkevich, who held the position, was discharged from military service in the reserve due to retirement age with the right to wear military uniforms and insignia.
