Ambassadors meet at seminar in Belarus to find response to challenges
An annual seminar of heads of diplomatic missions and consular institutions of Belarus has begun its work at the Academy of Management under the President of the Republic of Belarus
During the week-long seminar, Belarusian diplomats will hold a session in the Government, meet with representatives of various ministries, departments, banking organisations, concerns and enterprises.
Addressing the participants, Belarus’ Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei outlined the purpose of the event, “Our common task is to find extraordinary answers to the challenges that, unfortunately, exist in the current situation.” According to him, the seminar is extremely important since ‘it takes place in a difficult environment’. “Its programme has been compiled taking into account the tasks set for the diplomatic service of Belarus last year during a meeting with participation of the Head of State, as well as the realities developing around our country.”
In turn, the Rector of the Academy of Management, Vyacheslav Danilovich, noted that a wide range of issues will also be devoted to economic problems, Belarus’ state of affairs and the country’s development under sanctions pressure. “The issues of hybrid war launched against our country and the Belarusian people’s genocide will also be discussed. We do our best to actively promote this agenda at the international level as well,” he added.
