Ambassador: Belarus’ President known and respected in Kenya
President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko is known and respected in Kenya – as stated by Pavel Vzyatkin, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Kenya, in his talk with the Belarus 1 TV channel
Pavel Vzyatkin said that as an ambassador, he feels tremendous support due to this.
“They don’t know our economy so much, they don’t know our capabilities so much, they don’t know what can be done with Belarus so much — this is our task,” he said.
As the Ambassador noted, the first association that arises when Belarus is mentioned is our President.
“And this is a very good association, it is felt in contacts with our establishment. Because when it comes to the Head of State, as a diplomat and a citizen of my country, it causes an immeasurable sense of pride,” Mr. Vzyatkin added.
It was noted that Aleksandr Lukashenko is called a ‘strong President’ in Kenya. The Head of State is not afraid to say what he thinks and pursue the policy that he considers necessary, calling things as they are and boldly defending his own position. These are rare and therefore even more noticeable qualities in the modern world. Who better than Kenya to appreciate such courage, because the country has had to manoeuvre between East and West for years.
