Aleinik, South African Ambassador discussed prospects of interaction
Belarus’ Foreign Minister Sergei Aleinik has met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Africa to Russia and concurrently to Belarus Mzuvukile Jeff Maqetuka – as reported in the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s press service
“A subject discussion of topical issues of bilateral and multilateral agenda took place, with special attention paid to the topic of expanding trade-economic co-operation with an emphasis on agriculture and ensuring food security, as well as the intensification of industrial interaction between Belarus and South Africa,” the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry noted.
The two sides highly appreciated the progressive development of liaisons between the two countries since the establishment of diplomatic relations (March 4th, 1993) and stressed the importance of withdrawing interaction to a new level.
