Aleinik discussed with Ambassador of the Dominican Republic preparations for signing of visa abolition agreement
Belarus’ Foreign Minister Sergei Aleinik has met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Dominican Republic to the Republic of Belarus, Frank Hans Dannenberg Castellanos, on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission in Belarus – as reported by the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s press service
“During the meeting, concrete steps were discussed to expand and deepen the Belarusian-Dominican co-operation in the political and trade-economic spheres, including in industry and agriculture, as well as to maximise the potential for interaction in the field of tourism, education and information technology. The two parties paid special attention to the development of the legal framework for collaboration, in particular, preparations for the signing of the agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Dominican Republic on the abolition of visas,” noted the Foreign Ministry.
The Foreign Minister of Belarus highly appreciated the Ambassador’s efforts in his activities to bring together the interests of both states and wished him success in his future diplomatic career.
