Aleinik: Belarus ready to fully join SCO work
Belarus’ Foreign Minister Sergei Aleinik met with the Deputy Secretary General of the Shanghai Co-operation Organisation, Nurlan Yermekbayev, who came to Minsk as head of the SCO election observation mission, sb.by reports with reference to Belarus’ Foreign Ministry
The Foreign Minister thanked Nurlan Yermekbayev for the work of the mission done during its stay in Belarus and support in matters of the country's accession to the SCO as a full member.
In addition, the readiness of Belarus to fully engage in the work of the organisation, contribute to its content, make proposals and initiatives was noted.
It is reported that the parties also exchanged views on topical issues of co-operation and discussed upcoming events within the framework of the SCO.
