Agriculture and Food Ministry: over 2,000 types of whole milk products manufactured in Belarus

Belarus produces more than 2,000 types of whole milk products, alongside dozens of types of butter and cheese – as noted by Yulia Guzkova, the Deputy Head of the Processing Products Main Department at the Agriculture and Food Ministry, at a press conference focusing on the development prospects for the dairy industry

The trend and requirement of the time is the re-equipment of the industry to manufacture products with a higher commodity value, including with the help of innovative technologies. The production of instant milk powder – a new export position – has already been organised. Equipment has been purchased for packaging butter in portions of 10-15 grams. According to the specialist, the most important project for 2026-2027 is the production of milk protein concentrate and increasing the production of whey protein concentrates.
