Academy of Public Administration to expand co-operation with universities of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan
The Academy of Public Administration under the President of Belarus has hosted a meeting between the university leadership and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Belarus, Rakhmatulla Nazarov, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Belarus, Erbol Sultanbaev. During the meeting, Rector of the Academy of Public Administration Vyacheslav Danilovich spoke on the structure, specialties and bodies of student co-government of the university, as well as the process of training management personnel for our country.
“I cannot help but note that in recent years we have been actively involving officials from various state bodies and organisations in the educational process. After all, Belarus’ President Aleksandr Lukashenko says, it is necessary that not only theory should be taught, but also practice. Therefore, many civil servants with practical experience spoke and held open lectures for our students,” noted Vyacheslav Danilovich.
First Vice-Rector Olga Soldatova outlined possible options for developing liaisons in sharing experience in the civil service.
“I think that the traditions in our co-operation that already exist give us hope and confidence that a fruitful path lies ahead,” she underlined.
Rakhmattula Nazarov and Erbol Sultanbaev also talked about possible areas of interaction between the Belarusian university and higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, among which they highlighted the exchange of experience between the teaching staff.
“We believe that our meeting took place in a very timely manner. We will work to ensure that our interaction continues and contacts expand,” the diplomats stressed.
