Lukashenko congratulated President of Equatorial Guinea on Independence Day
On behalf of the Belarusian people and himself, President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated President of Equatorial Guinea Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo on Independence Day, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service
“More than five decades ago, your country chose a new path, basing it on the priority of the interests of the population. The result of this decisive decision was a strong socially oriented state – ready to defend its national values and deepen respectful and mutually beneficial relations with international partners,” the congratulatory message reads.
The Head of State noted that Equatorial Guinea is well aware of Belarus’ potential in such sectors as agriculture, healthcare, education, housing and industrial construction, oil refining, woodworking and others.
“With our experience and competencies, we can contribute to reaching new heights in the socio-economic development of our friendly Equatorial Guinea,” the Belarusian leader stressed.
Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed confidence that the roadmap of bilateral co-operation signed last year will be successfully implemented in full in line with the agreements reached.
The President of Belarus wished the President of Equatorial Guinea excellent health, longevity and the implementation of plans, and peace and prosperity to the citizens of this country.
