For the first time, a jazz programme on the organ will be presented at the Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk festival – as stated by Gleb Lapitsky, the Director General of the Vitebsk Cultural Centre and the Director of the Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk International Festival of Arts, BelTA reports
A jazz symphony for organ accompanied by percussion will be presented at the Vitebsk Regional Philharmonic at the Slavianski Bazaar for the first time, and in general, this majestic keyboard wind instrument will debut at the festival.
Gleb Lapitsky noted that the philharmonic programme of the festival will be predominantly jazz with performers and jazz bands from different countries.
The Director of the Slavianski Bazaar Festival added that during the Days of the Union State on the stage of the cultural institution, some concerts will also be held, “The Union State project will complete the programme at the Philharmonic, which, I think, will also be dedicated to the national culture and the milestones that we are opening in our joint Union State projects.”
The programme of almost all key events of the festival has already been prepared, and the tickets for them are on sale, except for the opening concert, for which there are no seats left. The Slavianski Bazaar will use the maximum number of venues: recreation parks, pedestrian streets, open spaces, as well as the sports complex of the Summer Amphitheatre. A gastronomic space is planned to be set up in front of it.
The main events of the 33rd Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk International Festival of Arts will be held from July 11th to 14th.
