Lukashenko sent Independence Day greetings to Venezuela
On behalf of Belarusian citizens and himself, President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and the people of this country on the national holiday — Independence Day – sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service
“Led by leaders such as Hugo Chavez and you, the country has achieved remarkable results in state-building, strengthening sovereignty, political and social modernisation, as well as in increasing its authority in the international arena,” the congratulatory message reads.
The Head of State expressed confidence that Venezuelans will confirm their confidence in the political course being pursued during the presidential elections to be held on July 28th.
“We highly appreciate your personal contribution to the development of Minsk-Caracas strategic partnerships. I believe that your visit to Belarus will enable us to outline new horizons for our bilateral co-operation,” the President noted.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Nicolas Maduro strong health and success in government activities, and the people of Venezuela a peaceful sky and prosperity.
