3.6m e-tickets sold by Belarusian Railway

Over 3.6m electronic tickets were sold by the Belarusian Railway from January-September 2021 – as reported by the Belarusian Railway 

In the first nine months of the year, passengers of the Belarusian Railway bought more than 2.7m train tickets with seat numbers and over 900 tickets with no seat numbers for trains servicing the city lines and regional economy class lines.

As informed, the Belarusian Railway continues to introduce technologies which make the operation of services and purchase of tickets as simple and convenient as possible. Online tickets enjoy a great demand: 42 percent of tickets with seat numbers are purchased through the Passenger Services section of the pass.rw.by site and the mobile application.

In times of COVID-19, the Belarusian Railway recommends e-ticketing services, while reminding passengers that it is mandatory to wear masks at train stations and other railway facilities.
