2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games mascots unveiled

The 2024 Paris Olympic and Paralympic mascots are Phrygian caps, which are symbols of Republican France and the French Revolution of 1789. The talismans received the corresponding names: Phryges.

The difference between the Olympic mascot and the Paralympic mascot is that it is wearing sneakers, while the Paralympic mascot has a running prosthesis instead of one leg.

According to AFP, the Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games plans to earn 127m Euros as merchandising revenues.
