Lukashenko congratulates Patriarch Kirill on Easter

Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended congratulations to Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia on the Resurrection of Christ

“Easter is a holiday that unites people, fills their hearts with special energy, love of life and compassion for their neighbour, while bringing the light of goodness and hope,” the President noted. “Being at the forefront of protecting traditional moral values, Orthodoxy provides all believers with a spiritual compass and meaning in life.”

Aleksandr Lukashenko also wished, “Let your prayer word serve as a great patriotic force and strengthen the unity of our fraternal peoples. I wish you, Your Holiness, strong health, peace and harmony. Christ is Risen!”
