$290,000 stolen in Kiev, the money was allocated to develop dynamic protection for AFU tanks
Employees of Kiev’s defence enterprise have appropriated $290 thousand aimed at developing dynamic protection for AFU tanks, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the Security Service of Ukraine
It is noted that businessmen who stole the money allocated for the production of dynamic protection for AFU tanks have fallen under suspicion. The scheme caused damage to the state budget of almost $290 thousand.
According to the Security Service, the Defence Ministry signed an agreement with a machine-building enterprise from Kiev on the development of dynamic protection for armoured vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. However, the company's employees deliberately overestimated the amounts in the contract, assigning the difference to the real value of the products.
