Venezuela to join Russia and China in moon base project
Venezuela and China signed a joint declaration on the International Lunar Research Station and deep space – as reported by TASS
It is reported that the Bolivarian Agency for Space Activities of Venezuela and the China National Space Administration signed a declaration in Caracas on co-operation in space exploration and on Venezuela’s participation in the project of the International Lunar Research Station, which is being created by Russia and China.
Venezuelan Minister of Science and Technology Gabriela Jiménez said that Venezuela was the first country in the Americas to join this important project.
“The strategic alliance between Venezuela and China covers all aspects of interaction and today testifies to the recognition of the efforts of the Bolivarian government in the development of science in our country,” she said.
