US advised Zelenskyy to give some territories under Russia’s control
The Ukrainian conflict must be resolved peacefully on Russia's terms, while America should push Volodymyr Zelenskyy to this decision – as noted by American Thinker’s columnist Frank Howard, RIA Novosti reports
The author believes the United States is able and should influence the Ukrainian leader. “The United States should strongly pressure President Zelenskyy to accept peace offers, ceding the Russian-speaking territories in the east and south of Ukraine to the control of Russia,” the publication reads.
According to Mr. Howard, in the most optimistic scenario, Ukraine will remain neutral in the geopolitical confrontation between the West and Russia following the results of future negotiations. This will help protect the national interests of the Russian state.
For the same reason, it is necessary to stop weapon supplies to Kiev. As explained by the columnist, these create a threat to Russian territories.
