Ukraine threatens to sink Russian fleet and retake Crimea

The Deputy Defence Minister of Ukraine, Volodymyr Gavrilov, said Kiev is preparing to destroy the Black Sea Fleet of Russia and to retake Crimea with the help of Western weapons, RIA Novosti reports

During his visit to the UK, where the Ukrainian military is training, Mr. Gavrilov said that Kiev is increasing its anti-ship missile potential and is waiting for long-range weapons from the West. Afterwards, attacks at the Black Sea Fleet are planned to follow. "Sooner or later we will attack the fleet," he told a British newspaper.

Mr. Gavrilov added that Kiev is discussing with its Western partners the possibility of using the weapons supplied by them to strike Crimea.
