Tokayev: I’m convinced today will become bright page in Belarus’ history
A decision on the membership of the Republic of Belarus in the SCO was signed at a meeting of the SCO Council of Heads of State in Astana, attended by President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko. Our country has become the tenth member state of the organisation.
The President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, has warmly welcomed the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, noting that Belarus has completed all necessary procedures on its way to full membership in the SCO in a short time.
After the signing ceremony, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev sincerely congratulated the Belarusian leader, “I’m convinced that today will become a bright page in Belarus’ history.”
The President of Kazakhstan expressed confidence that our country will make a significant contribution to strengthening security within the SCO space.
