Poland to build a wall on border with Russia

Poland plans to build a wall on the border with Russia – as announced by Poland’s Deputy Minister of National Defence, Wojciech Skurkiewicz, in his talk with the local ZET radio station

“We have plans to build a wall on the Polish-Russian border so that our borders will be strengthened in a modern way,” he explained.

Against the background of the refugee crisis, Poland began building a fence on the border with Belarus in January. Once ready, the barrier will be 5m tall and stretch for 186km.
