Narbayeva: we feel at home on Belarusian land
The Uzbek and Belarusian peoples are brought together by diligence, hospitality and openness – as stated today by Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majilis of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbayeva at a meeting with the President of Belarus. She thanked the Belarusian side for the invitation to visit our country, for the hospitality and homely warm welcome, and conveyed greetings and warm wishes from President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Aleksandr Lukashenko.
Addressing the Belarusian leader, the guest noted, “As soon as we set foot on Belarusian land, we felt at home. We’re delighted with the cleanliness, neatness of the roads and the city, the goodwill of the people. You correctly said that our peoples are brought together by diligence, hospitality and openness. On the first day, we visited several sites and felt the openness, interest of the Belarusian people towards their guests, and we’re very happy about this.”
