Media: USA disaffected by Ukraine’s inability to replenish troops

Joe Biden’s administration is disaffected by the Kiev regime’s inability to handle the troop shortage issue in the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), TASS reports

Citing White House sources, The Washington Post claimed that there’s ‘growing disappointment’ in Joe Biden’s administration concerning Ukrainian leadership’s reluctance to acquiesce to the US’ demands to lower the draft age from 25 to 18.

“They [the Kiev authorities] simply do not recruit or train enough troops to replenish combat losses,” said a White House official speaking on the condition of anonymity.

According to sources, Biden’s administration is working round the clock to provide Kiev with billions of Dollars for extra weapons while Russian battlefield gains are ‘the fastest since 2022’. They believe nothing Washington does is going to help the AFU to have enough troops to continue fighting.

In late November, White House National Security Communications Advisor John Kirby announced that the US is ready to expand their training programmes for AFU servicemen if the Ukrainian authorities take steps to handle troop shortages in the army. He also reaffirmed their commitment to supply the AFU with weapons and ammo.
