Media: France refused to provide Ukraine with data for flights over Belarus

Le Monde newspaper reported that France refused to provide Ukraine with a digital map of Belarus that would allow fighter jets or drones to fly over its territory at low altitudes, TASS reports

As informed, earlier Ukraine appealed to France with a request to provide a digital map of the territory of Belarus, which describes in detail the terrain, and also indicates obstacles such as high voltage lines. “It combines all the tactical data necessary for penetration at a very low altitude, at night or in conditions of poor visibility,” sources in military circles said.

It is reported that the Ministry of the Armed Forces of France declined to comment on this issue.
