Media: 3,625 people detained in France during street riots
As noted by the BFMTV channel, which cited the French Ministry of Justice, over the past six days of street riots in the country, the police detained 3,625 people, including 1,124 minors, RIA Novosti reports
It is reported that 990 cases were referred to the court, 480 of them were considered immediately under the accelerated procedure. According to the TV channel, 380 people are currently sentenced to prison.
On the morning of June 27th, police officers shot a 17-year-old teenager during a road check in Nanterre, who, according to security officials, refused to comply with their demands. Riots broke out in a number of French cities.
