Aleksandr Lukashenko is confident that the United States will continue to put pressure on Europe, because it does not need competitors. "It lives off it. If Europe and its Euro flourish, then there will be no place for the Dollar. The European Union has already begun to understand this," the President said.
The Head of State did not rule out that, in the future, the EU will become truly united and start working with Belarus and Russia. After all, the EU leaders could combine their highest technologies with the resources available in the Russian Federation.
"It will happen sometime, you will see," Aleksandr Lukashenko is convinced. “Germany has already begun to doubt. As soon as Scholz is thrown out of office, Germany will come to its senses. [It had] cheap gas and cheap energy resources, [it was] the world's leading economy, the miracle of the world. Where is all this now? They are below the knees now. Germans are actually not fools, they will make their government work the way it should."
"The world is terribly changing, and there will be a completely different situation tomorrow – as we see it from the current events. They [heads of the EU states] will definitely stand for their countries, for Europe. And here it is not China that can become the main rival for America, but Europeans," the Head of State noted, adding that the Global South is also progressing in its development, and India's economy is growing rapidly.
"Maybe literally after a while, new circumstances will emerge, and it [the United States] will have to react to them. Therefore, we are now speculating from the point of view of the present, but tomorrow we will talk based on the changed situation. It is changing right before our eyes," the President stated.
Aleksandr Lukashenko expects that Donald Trump will address issues of world order and try to contribute to solving the accumulated problems. "There is still some hope that something will change. There is also one more nuance, of a human nature: it is one situation when people without experience are in power, but it is a disaster when these people have no children. They do not care about what is going on in the world. Trump has a big family, he has children. Trump also has our Melania [a native of Yugoslavia], she holds him tightly in her hands. Therefore, it matters much that he has a family and children. He thinks not only about his future, but also about the future of his children," the Head of State concluded.
