Belarus and Kazakhstan have practically no areas where there are no common interests – as noted by President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko during today’s ceremony of presentation of credentials by foreign ambassadors
The Head of State views Kazakhstan as an important and time-tested friend, a strategic partner and ally for Belarus.
“Today there are practically no areas where we do not have common interests. Annual $1bn trade turnover and successful projects in industrial interaction testify to the high dynamics of bilateral co-operation,” the President underlined.
Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed gratitude to President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev for the full support provided to Belarus during Kazakhstan’s chairmanship in the Shanghai Co-operation Organisation (SCO).
