Lukashenko congratulated film director Emir Kusturica on his birthday
President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated Emir Kusturica on his birthday, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service
"Your multifaceted acting and directing talent is framed in dozens of cinematic works. Your work has written bright pages in the cultural chronicle of our time and gained well-deserved international recognition," the congratulatory message reads.
The Head of State noted that Emir Kusturica is known in Belarus as an outstanding figure of art and a good friend of the republic. "I am sure that your activities will continue to contribute to the development of co-operation between the peoples of Belarus and Serbia," the President stressed.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Emir Kusturica good health, long life, cheerfulness and optimism.
