Lukashenko congratulated Cuba on National Rebellion Day

Lukashenko has congratulated Cuban President Miguel Mario Diaz-Canel Bermudez on National Rebellion Day, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service

“Cuba’s path towards building a socially oriented state that pursues an honest domestic and foreign policy started from this event,” the congratulatory message reads.

The President noted Cuba is one of Belarus’ most important partners and friends in the Western Hemisphere.

“I’m convinced that we need not only to expand liaisons in the traditional sphere of trade, but also to enter into co-operative forms of interaction. The creation of joint ventures for the production of whole milk products, medicines and tractors will give rise to a qualitatively new stage in our economic relations,” the Head of State stressed.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Miguel Mario Diaz-Canel Bermudez strong health, inexhaustible energy and success in all his endeavours, as well as peace and prosperity to the fraternal Cuban people.
