Lukashenko: Belarus is interested in boosting relations with Yemen and is ready to export to this country
The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has congratulated the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council of Yemen, Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, and the citizens of this state on National Unity Day, the Belarusian leader’s press service reports
The Head of State noted Yemen’s active and effective work aimed at restoring state institutions based on the principles of justice and equality, protecting the civilian population, and fulfilling socio-economic obligations.
"I hope the courageous Yemeni people will move towards the gradual normalisation of the situation, the continuation of the ceasefire, and the achievement of a long-term political settlement under the auspices of the UN and friendly states," the congratulatory message reads.
Belarus is interested in restoring Yemen's position as a traditional partner in the Arab world, as well as in activating the entire complex of relations both in the bilateral format and within the framework of international organisations.
"The Belarusian side is ready to help your country with the supply of necessary goods, including food, medicines, agricultural, cargo, road construction equipment," the Head of State stressed.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi good health, happiness and success, also wishing peace and prosperity to the people of Yemen.
