Lukashenko advised the West to learn from China

If the West wants to remain a centre of power in the new world order, it should learn from ancient China – as stated by the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, during the 7th Belarusian People’s Congress

“The community of common destiny for all mankind is an example of the unity of nations without detriment to national cultures, ideologies and sovereignties, without suppression and a sense of superiority, without saber rattling – but through the power of wisdom and intelligence," the President emphasised.

The Head of State added that the project of such a just world order proposed by China has the right to life. Moreover, as he noted, this idea is very close to Belarusians. “America cannot agree with the fact that China is turning into the world’s top economy, and it is trying to talk from a position of strength – as it has used to. It [the US] has offered ‘support for peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait’ if China refuses to support the Russian military-industrial base. It stirred up the conflict, brought it to an escalation, and is now offering the services of a ‘peacemaker’,” he said.

Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed that blackmail is a weak argument, “Meanwhile, China should have answered it strongly – and it did: do not interfere, do not create problems and do not cross the line.”
