Drift pilots came to Gomel for a video project
Starting early in the morning on October 29th, Gomel witnessed spectacular set pieces for a promo video performed by well-known drift pilots from Japan, Australia, the Netherlands, Thailand, and Brazil. Standing over the Sozh River, Gomel is the next stop in the ambitious project by Blockchain Sports Drift team that invites drivers to iconic places in Belarus and gives them a chance to flaunt their skills in front of the camera.
Several locations were tentatively selected for the show, including Sovetskaya Street, Lenina Square, and Kievsky Spusk Street. No entrance fees were charged, but traffic on those streets had to be limited temporarily.
According to the organisers, videos will be shot on October 26th-November 8th in 6 Belarusian regions. Pilots have already visited Nesvizh, Kossovo, and Brest. After the drift tour is done with Gomel, Mogilev is up next. The promo video they expect to shoot in that time is going to present an unmanned drift car and showcase the best features of Belarus: IT innovations and culture landmarks.
