According to the politician, Brazil understands that every country should have the right to autonomy and sovereignty. “Therefore, countries should have such strong leaders as Aleksandr Lukashenko. Belarus is a powerful country with enormous potential, and it is a regional leader. It simply would not have survived without Lukashenko and in such a geographical position,” he said.
Mr. Pimenta added that, in the Brazilian language, there is an expression about a crocodile that swims on its back so that it is not eaten by piranhas. He believes this can apply to Belarus as well.
It was noted during the broadcast that Belarus is committed to developing relations with the states of the far arc. The time has come to expand co-operation, and Aleksandr Lukashenko has repeatedly stated this recently. The republic’s trade interests and new potential are in Africa, Asia and Latin America. As for the latter, Belarus considers Brazil as one of the most important trading partners.
