Belarus, UAE keen to develop relations and share experience between control bodies
During his visit to Moscow, First Deputy Chairman of the State Control Committee of Belarus Dmitry Basko held a working meeting with Director General of the Audit Sector at the Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority Wael Mahmoud, sb.by reports citing the State Control Committee’s press service

“The parties informed each other about the peculiarities of the activities of supreme audit institutions (SAIs), functions, tasks and control tools. Interest was expressed in the development of relations between the agencies, including the exchange of best practices,” the statement reads.
In particular, Mr. Basko noted the interest in the UAE experience in the field of digitalisation and application of artificial intelligence in various sectors of the economy, as well as in the field of audit.
The sides also discussed the conclusion of a memorandum of co-operation between the control authorities of Belarus and the UAE. According to the Belarusian side, it will serve to establish sustainable contacts and exchange best audit practices.
Mr. Basko invited the leadership of the Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority to visit Belarus to continue the dialogue.
