Belarus’ NAS delegation displays its scientific and innovative potential at international conference in China
The delegation of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (NAS), headed by First Deputy Chairman of the Presidium Sergei Chizhik, is taking part in the China-Eastern Europe Experts Co-operation and Exchange Conference, held from May 17th-19th in the Chinese city of Harbin, sb.by reports with reference to Belarus’ NAS website
It is noted that the opening ceremony of the conference took place today, attended by over 300 representatives from 14 countries, including Belarus, Russia, China, Serbia, Hungary, Poland, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia.
“Welcoming speeches were delivered by China’s Deputy Minister of Human Resources and Social Security Li Zhong, Vice Governor of the Heilongjiang Province Zhang Qixiang, and President of Harbin Institute of Technology Han Jiecai. Sergei Chizhik presented the scientific and innovative potential of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus during the plenary session,” the NAS website reads.
It is also clarified that in the afternoon, members of the delegation made thematic presentations in section 2: Robotics and Smart Manufacturing.
