Belarus’ GDP up by 4.9% in January-August 2024

In January-August 2024, the gross domestic product of Belarus grew by 4.9 percent, sb.by reports with reference to the National Statistical Committee of Belarus (Belstat)

According to the first estimate of the country’s GDP for January-August 2024, it made up Br158.4bn in current prices, or 104.9 percent of the level of January-August 2023 in comparable prices.

“Over this period, the GDP deflator index stood at 110.7 percent compared to the same period in 2023,” Belstat added.
